2.1 How to Generate the Application Before generating the application, ensure that the correct preferences have been set up from windows/preferences menu. You can ensure that the application server, database, log levels, security and so on, are all as you want them. Generating the application needs to be done from the "Java" perspective. Perspective controls are on the top right-hand side of the main modelling area (usually above the palette). Typically you will have been working in the Modelling perspective. There may be a button available to take you to the Java perspective directly or you may need to use the "Open a perspective" icon to the left of the Modelling button. After moving to the Java perspective, you should be able to see a build.jwp file under the project in the package explorer (which will have replaced the model explorer on the left hand side). Right click on the build.jwp file and this will bring up a context menu at the bottom of which you should find an option JeeWiz Build. Select this then the sub-option All. This will start the build, the results of which can be seen on the console window (usually a Tab group).
