1.5 Setting Application Properties

Once you have stereotyped your component as an application you will have the extra relevant JeeWiz properties available on the Properties view, both on the stereotype tab and the advanced tab.

Many of the application level properties are defaults for the application, such as generateDataviewForEntity and can be overridden in individual circumstances on particular objects. Some of the application properties are detailed below

name: the name of the application. Set on the general tab.
columnStyle: specifies the default number of columns on a general page, overridable on ui-jar
- default: onecol,
- options: onecol / twocols / . . . sixcols
menuStyle: specifies the menu style, overridable on ui-jar.
- default: a left hand side expanding menu with top highest level tab style menu
- options: tlr: a top, left and right combination, three-level support
- expandable: left side expandable menu only, multi-level
- context: top menu shows context, left menu shows next level options
splashImage: The name of an image file to be shown on the index page
webAppName: The access name, forming the URL context in web applications. Defaults to the application name
