1.6 Installing the RSA/RSM Plugins for The First Time

Our intention is to support both RSA (IBM Rational System Architect) and RSM ( IBM Rational System Modeler). Historically, we have supported versions 6.0 and 7.0 of these products. Contact NT/e if you need to run JeeWiz with the previous versions of the RSA/RSM software.

However, the supported version, as of this writing, is RSM version 7.0.5, which is incompatible with versions 6.0 and 7.0. Unfortunately, there is no corresponding RSA version 7.0.5: hopefully the new RSM functionality will be ported to a future release of RSA.

To install the JeeWiz feature into your installation of RSM, do the following:

Go to Help / Software Updates / Find and Install...
This should show the following dialog:

Select "Search for new features to install" and click "Next".
This should show the following dialog:

Click on "New Local Site" and point it at the JeeWiz update site at
jeewiz/designTransforms/RsmRsa/workspace/UpdateSite.
